Early days

It is all looking very bare and scrappy, after I pulled out all the weeds. Mum's rose is starting to sprout though and I have  planted a beautiful purple spiky dahlia next to the purple rose. Colours I am choosing are mostly in the blue and white palette, with splashes of pink here and there.

The Plan

My aim is to get the existing garden roughly tidied up before we leave for Paris. I have about 8 days to work on it. Main things I want completed are:
Fertilise the fruit trees, the roses and the lawns.
Patch the lawns
Mow the lawn the day before we go.
Get the vege garden ready for sowing when we come back.
Plant out strawberries.
Clear out potting area
Weed under the rhododendrons
Sort out the garden out the back ie get it weeded.
